Okay im going crazy. I uninstalled unreal engine but its still in the tabs, and its making my laptop insanely laggy whenever i open the epic games launcher. On the top right it says “not installed” and whenever i click the remove button or the X button for the 5.7.4 thing it just comes back. same goes for Fab but i think unreal is making my laptop the laggiest. I even tried deleting the specific files for Fab and Unreal through program files, but they just keep coming back to haunt me. sos.
Hey there @leenIol! Welcome to the community! The little box marked “5.7.4” with the install button will remain, it’s basically a slot for an engine version to sit. If you check the file location of the engine itself, you should see there is no version there. If there are any remaining files, you are free to delete them.
Some of Fab’s essentials to run inside of the Epic Games Launcher will remain as long as you keep the launcher, but those are rather small (and entirely inert unless used).
As for the laptop slow down, you can check what processes are taking up your resources by looking in Task Manager.
