I can't seem to get my music submission right!

Hi there!
After a few failed attempts and YouTube videos etc. being of little help, I can’t seem to get my music pack submission to work correctly. It keeps coming back with changes needed, but the changes they request aren’t reflected on my end (most recently that the CUEs won’t play because they aren’t connected to the WAV files associated with them… screenshots were provided, but on my end it all looks to be fine). I must be preparing the folder wrong or something, but there really aren’t any explicit instructions on how this is all supposed to work and look.

Being a musician and not a dev, I am not familiar with the engine’s interface and how it works. I have a music pack currently in the store. That also took a few tries, but I got it. I feel that I am doing the same thing with this new one but it’s not working.

Could someone please provide explicit instructions on how a music pack submission is supposed to be done and how the final folder that gets submitted is supposed to look for someone who doesn’t know (or really NEED to know) the ins and outs of Unreal? I literally just need to get this music in the right order and send it. It can literally be “do these steps and have your final folder look like this” and it should be all I need to get this going.

Thanks so much!

You just need to get your WAV files into the engine and make sound cues out of them, right?

Do this:

  1. Go to the folder where you will be putting the audio.

  2. Drag the WAV files into the folder from Windows ( or OSX ), you need to reduce the UE4 interface to do this:

  1. Select all the assets you get from this, right click and make the cues:

The engine makes the sound cues for you.

That’s it, unless you want to put the cues in a different folder.

Thanks.
You can see here that I have all of the audio already in the engine. When I choose to play audio, either a cue or a wav, it plays just fine. It is all labeled and put under the “content” folder as requested. Here is where my submission fails, according to the PDF given to me:

“Audio does not play. When you double click on a cue asset, a window should pop up. Usually, where the “Wave Player: None” is should be the name of your cue asset (see screenshot attached to email). Unfortunately I cannot be of much help with technical issues, however I do advise that you check out the Unreal Engine Forums and UE4 Answerhub for any technical issues that you do have.”

The thing is, when I double click a cue in my project on my end, it opens up just like how they say it should with the Wave Player not saying “None,” but showing the name of the WAV file associated with it. I think I’m doing something wrong in the exporting and zipping up of the file or something… It’s been really frustrating.
