I can’t see the Sketchup model in the TW 2023.1 scene after importing it from the direct SKP link to TW, but is showing in the scene graph.
But I can see it when importing using datasmith and in case I edit the model in SKP I couldn’t update it in TW !

Hello,

Thank you for reaching out in the community. For Twinmotion 2023.1, please ensure that you are using the 5.1.1 version of the SketchUp Datasmith plugin(compatible with Twinmotion 2023.1 and SketchUp Pro 2019-2022) available here: Datasmith Exporter for SketchUp Pro

If you are using a previous version of the plugin, be sure to uninstall this before installing the newer version. We'll have install/uninstall instructions for the SketchUp plugin available here:

Using Datasmith with SketchUp Pro

If you are using the 5.1.1 plugin, and are not seeing your model in the viewport, it may be helpful to use the "F" hotkey to focus on the selection, in case the model may be out of the camera's view on import.

Morgan

Hi Sahar,

For this issue, I would first recommend deleting the Config file, then verifying Twinmotion's files as shown in our Twinmotion is not visible after splash screen article.

If the issue persists after, I would next recommend deleting the QuixelCloudLibrary.tml file located here:

Windows OS:

C:\Users\%USERNAME%\Documents\Twinmotion2023.1\QuixelCloudLibrary\CloudLibrary

macOS:

HD/Users/username/Documents/Twinmotion2023.1/QuixelCloudLibrary/CloudLibrary

Please note that all previously downloaded Quixel Megascans assets would need to be downloaded again.

Best Regards,

Morgan

Hi,

Every time I tried to import a material from Megascan library a Serialization Error warning window popped up saying corrupt data found.
I did the TM verification from Epic Game launcher but I still facing the same issue.
Please advise me what to do to fix.

Thank you,

Sahar Darwich
