I cant open bluprints, textures etc in my map

Hello, I am trying to fix the issue were I cant open the textures, blueprints or anything other were you have to dopple klick in the content drawer. Thanks

Hey Eragon045,

Are you still able to right click and select Edit ?

Yes I am but when I do that a Window opens with nothing in it. The name ist the same like the blueprint but it is empty.

Does it work in other maps ?
Have you tried verifying your files ?

So it doesnt work in other maps either and I dont know where I can verify my files.

You can verify your installation files in the epic launcher.
Close UEFN and go to the epic launcher library, there should be a few dots you can click on next to the name, verify is somewhere in there.

So I have verifed the files but it is still the same. Could it have something to do with the Project size? Because at the moment my Map is at 117%.

Hi all,

The fact that you’re mentioning Blueprints is a Red-Flag. In UEFN Blueprint viewing/authoring does not exist.

Are you talking about textures that you’ve imported yourself, or ones that exist in the /Fortnite/ folder?

I mean the Blueprints which I created and the textures I imported.

Like I said in my previous post Blueprint viewing/authoring does not exist in UEFN, so not being able to open Blueprints or seeing an empty window would be expected.

Can you share a screenshot of what you’re seeing when you open your texture assets?

So when I want to open a blueprint or something else it opens a second page like it should, but if I click on it nothing happens. Normally there should be a the the mesh where I can adjust things if I need to. But for some time now it doesnt let me in these windows anymore.

Thanks for the screenshot.

It’s unrelated to the original question, but I want to mention this incase it’s the source of confusion:

I see that you’re looking at the ‘World Settings’ tab, the tab where you “can adjust things” is the ‘Details’ tab. (Visible docked with your Outliner in Screenshot)

That Tiny window is weird. Do you notice it in the upper left? Are you able to resize it?

If not try resetting your UI (Window → Load Layout → Default Editor Layout)

If that doesn’t work, let me know what you double-clicked on to open that window and I’ll see if I can reproduce it.
