Hi everyone, I have a problem. When I open any of my projects, the editor shut down when is in 83%. Before 83% it is ok, but then it stop to load. I read here that maybe is because under editor load window appear a text that recomend you to use a 8GB ram computer ( I use 4GB ram). If that te case, how can I see this window?? The editor doesn’t permit me see it.
I try to reinstall the editor, but nothing, it continue equal.
Hi Superkorlas,
Can you post your full dxdiag here so I can take a look? We do highly recommend 8gb of RAM at a bare minimum for using the editor and cannot guarantee that the editor will function properly with less than 8gb.
In addition, are you able to open a clean, blank project with no additional content or is this limited to specific projects/assets?
Well, it isn’t a project problem, because I can’t select the project. The crashes occurs before the selector project’s windows. When I init the editor, then occurs, so I can’t choose or create any project.
Can you post your dxdiag here so I can see it?
Sorry, I forgot the dxdiag, here it is:

Other than the RAM the only thing I can see that might be causing a problem would be if your integrated graphics card is set as the primary card for the editor. Please make sure the editor is using your secondary card. If this does not fix the error, try uninstalling and reinstalling the editor.
Hi Superkorlas,
We have not heard from you in several days. I am marking this as answered for tracking purposes. If you are still experiencing this error, please let me know that the above steps did not work and we can continue attempting to find the cause of the error you are seeing.
Sorry, I have bad days (health problem) and I can’t respond.
The graphics isn’t the problem, I test it and I’m using the correct card.
Support tell me the problem is the RAM, I need 8GB.
At this juncture I believe that is the most likely culprit. If you do decide to upgrade to 8gb RAM and you experience the same error, please comment here and I’ll be happy to take another look.
Thanks so much for your help.
When I decided to change my RAM (not soon really) I’m going to post here if that’s the problem.
