I Can't get 'distance (vector)' node from 'GetActorLocation', like they did in the tutorial

I think it’s because you’re using 4.18

Hello, I am following a tutorial on youtube and they have different stuff in their list than I do, but it’s from the same node.

How do I get the same node they have?

@Psyball, if you need the distance between two vectors, you can subtract the two vectors and then use Vector Length to get the distance as a float value.

I don’t get that option even in versions 4.24 or 4.26 either.
and it should output something that can go into float, not vector

I’m completely new and just want to follow the tutorial 100% correctly, but can’t.
here is the tutorial, at 18:34 he adds it.

It does return a float:

It might be as new as 4.27, not sure…

As psybal says, you can always:

Switch Context Sensitive back on. You’re getting a lot of unfiltered results.
