I downloaded this automaterial, it worked mostly fine except for the tiling problem as you can see by the image. I need to mention that I just started using Unreal Engine like yesterday, so when I saw that the solution for this problem was using node system I was like okay no problem. Until i opened the blueprint for this automaterial and I was slapped to the face by that.
All of those nodes make almost no sense to me so far. But I am willing to learn it of course. Can someone help me with it please?
I don’t know if what I did is correct or not, but I went to the grass output in the material blueprint and I did the same thing instructed in the video kinda.
So this is the BP for the material before I add to it the tiling parameter.
And this is the the BP after.
So because there was already another multiply function connected to the texture sample I added first an ADD function, it didn’t work and then I added a multiply function and it still didnt work. Now i’m confused why wouldnt it work.
i think u only need to change the grass variation texture scale value, remove the tex coord and the tiling, if dont work i dont know, if you downloaded it from the market you should send a message to whoever created it or see if there is a manual among the files
