I have been looking everywhere and on the epic games launcher, it says, Not Installed Unreal Engine 4.8.2. I NEED HELP!
Hi BioCreeper77,
I believe all you need to do is go to the Library tab and choose an engine version to install. Here is a guide on how to do that.

For me it only lists 4.8.3, not 4.8.2, but that’s the one I need, unless 4.8.3 can run my 4.8.2-project without any hassle.
Hi gbsr,
The Launcher will always show a version with the latest hotfix because it’s considered the most stable version of that build.
With that said, here is the fixes that went into 4.8.3 hotfix. Unless something listed there will directly effect your project in a negative way, it should be fine to use. I still suggest creating a clone of your project first, then opening that copy (just to make sure).
If you absolutely need 4.8.2, you can download it directly it from GitHub and compile.
Cheers,
TJ
