So today i tried to download UE 4.10.0 for windows 8 and after the download finished it showed me:
Error Code 1223 plz make sure your operating system is on the newest standart
As far as i know i have regular updated my OP but the worst thing is that i tryed to run UE 4.10.0 after the error message again and it started redownloading the whole engine as if i didnt have installed it only 20 minutes ago at all.
My internet is very slow and the connection breaks often , so it is a pretty anoying process to redownload again and again.So beside of the newest operating system, what other programms do i need to get ue 4.10.0 running?
Do i need some special microsoft visual studio or some other programm and why do i have to re-download the entire engine again and not only update the missing programms??
Does anyone know??
Thanks for the quick answer, do you know why it tryed to re-install the whole engine. If i look in the UE4 folders there is over 3,7 GB UE 4.10 data existing, but after the error message it acts like there is no data existing and the download starts from zero. Is there any way to make the launcher recognize that the data is already there??
