Summary
I’m encountering issues with my merchant information verification and unable to complete it. Can a seller’s Chinese ID card pass EU verification? Additionally, I cannot reselect whether to verify as a merchant or non-merchant. I hope to get this resolved.

Steps to Reproduce
Navigate to: Publisher Settings → Merchant Information > Merchant Verification
Select verification type: Merchant
Upload required documents:
Chinese ID card (Front/Back)
Click “Submit Verification”
Observe initial error: “Verification Failed”
After multiple attempts (clicking 3-5 times), the error updates to:
Verification Error
We were unable to complete your merchant verification.
Please contact our support team by creating a support ticket.
Expected Result
After successful merchant verification, I should be able to:
- Update my store details in the EU region
- Make my products visible to EU followers
- Access the merchant dashboard for edits
