I cannot change material to Chaos GeometryCollection at runtime

I have a Blueprint with a geometry collection and I wanna change material at runtime based on program variable, but it does appear grey .checkered,
dod I do something wrong?

Its been 4 , and soon 5 years. Any information on how this is done?

How do we access a material from a Chaos Geo Collection and change its data? Lets say you are making a “pixel bomb style effect” and you want the pieces to change color etc.
