I can’t open my TM file. It now exceeds graphic limitations.

I can’t open my file anymore because it’s become over 3 GB and exceeds my computer specifications. I’m not sure how I was even able to save it but, anyway I’ve tried to reduce the graphic settings but they are permanently set within the project file so as soon as I try to open it, TM crashes. I’ve tried to create a fresh file with reduced settings and merge it with the old, but that crashes too. Is there any way to get under the hood and purge that file or am I stuck going to a two-week old backup?

I’m on a Windows 11 with 64GB RAM and a 16GB RTX 4090. I can see in task manager TM is using up about 59GB RAM when it crashes. My computer is maxed-out on RAM, so upgrading is not an option.

Open Twinmotion in an empty project, lower all the quality settings to low, switch to DirectX 11, and try again. Before that, also verify the Twinmotion files.
