I bound my character to Manny/Quinn and the feet are curling downward. IK issue? Video included.

Hi, as stated in the title, I bound a character to the Manny skeleton and it results in the feet curling downward. Actually it seems the feet are rotating up and the toes are rotating back downward. But this only happens when I apply animations. Here’s a video showing the issue:

For background, I’m fairly new to setting up characters in Unreal. So I rigged it using a blender plugin because it was the only one I could find, but painted the weights in Maya because it’s much better at that.

As you can see in the skeletal mesh window, the feet look fine until I apply animation. As a side note, all of the twist bones seem to be oriented 90 degrees off. I notice things like that happening in Blender tutorials a lot and no one seems to care or mention it haha. Is that a problem? Could it be contributing to the issue? I’m very new to Blender, coming from working with Maya for a decade.
