I am unable to import assets into Cinema 4D 2025 using Fab in Launcher.

Clicking to install the plugin produces no response

I had this issue, and what I noticed was Fab was only installing the plugin into the Appdata directory.

Go to <C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Maxon\Maxon Cinema 4D 2025\plugins\>

Copy the ‘Fab’ folder

Paste it into <C:\Program Files\Maxon Cinema 4D 2025\plugins\>.

Then relaunch Cinema 4D and try exporting from Fab.

I´m having the same issue, but this didn´t work for me

Hello! Can you guys try out the following:

  • Go to C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Maxon\Maxon Cinema 4D 2025xxxx\plugins\Fab
  • Delete “Fab” folder
  • Go to C:\Users\\AppData\Local\FabPlugins
  • Delete cinema4d
  • Restart the launcher
  • Install plugin for C4d
  • Now launch C4d and see how it goes.
