I am so tired of random stuff breaking after updates

Why after update 40.10 do my NPC spawners just not work anymore? I mean what are you guys doing over there. Haven’t changed a thing about them. I mean at this rate we are gonna be down to like 50% of devices that simply just work. Now I gotta spend 40 mins fiddling with these NPC spawners to try and see if they will work again. And theres no logs or anything with these devices so I have no clue what would even be the reason literally all of my NPC spawners aren’t working.

What is the point of all these handrails on devices if they still wont work. You guys spend all this time trying to limit what we can do so nothing breaks and things end up breaking more. At this point I wouldn’t be suprised if the AI assistant is just writing all the code now because thats what it feels like.

Another great example is the teleporter device. I mean what should be a device that literally just changes the players translation has all these checks and other crap going on that it just doesn’t work half the time. It was even killing my player for no reason the one time.

It is such a headache working with UEFN. Nothing ever just works, you can’t ever just place down devices and get them to work properly the first time.

Edit: Replaced all NPC spawner devices and now they work again. All I wanted to do was fix a simple spelling mistake and ended up having to do 40 more mins of work. Really good stuff guys!

This might not have even been in issue in a published island either but who knows because the functionality difference between a UEFN playtest and a published island is a lot. But can’t wait 2 hours for approval just to see if this bug also happens in a published island. This engine is such a mess.
