Hello! I have recently uploaded a new video to my game’s store page, ‘Ungate,’ and after submitting it for review, I received an ‘issue found’ response stating that I have ‘GORE VIOLATIONS’, A RULE THAT DOESN’T EVEN EXIST anywhere in the documentation, for several videos that I’ve uploaded a long time ago and are already live on the storefront (carousel). The staff member claims that everything I upload must comply with RT17, which I assume refers to ESRB 17+ and I have already respected that. Moreover, there shouldn’t be such constraints, considering that the Epic Games storefront features much more violent games than mine, such as OUTLAST or DEAD SPACE, which contains truly ‘GORE’ imagery (my videos/images are not even close to the ‘GORE’ found on game pages like OUTLAST or DEAD SPACE]. Please help me understand why I have received numerous approvals to push to live before, but now I am not granted the same right for the same videos…
This is an abuse, and also blocks me of getting my updated binary to live as well…
And the request to modify my videos/trailer videos right now it’s really absurd, and would cause significant damage to all of my work…
This is the third time I received the same “issue found” response to my game’s page ‘Ungate’; what is going on ? it’s harming my business
And this is ESRB 17+: Content is generally suitable for ages 17 and up. May contain intense violence, blood and gore, sexual content and/or strong language. I don’t see what is wrong with my game’s page right now, given the fact that the game is rated MATURE 17+ (survival horror game), and the same videos are already live…
Please help… this is really unjust and unacceptable
