Hi @ED_DARKCLAW,
I just updated my launcher to double-check this, but I’m still getting the option to download other releases. Does your screen look like this when you go to add a new engine version?
Hi Sarah, I am getting this option, once i select the desired version, next it asks me to select which location i want the engine to be store. once this done i get my window adm prompt to enable one of service and once i select okay my launcher doesn’t update or show if the engine is getting downloaded
please use this video as reference, this is the issue that I am facing.
Hi @ED_DARKCLAW I hope you were able to solve it. If not, here are some possible solutions that might help you:
- Check that you have enough storage space on the drive where you’re installing Unreal Engine.
- Run the installer as administrator.
- Check if your antivirus is blocking the installation; disabling it temporarily might work.
- Sometimes, the servers may not be working properly , try installing it at different times of the day.
- If none of the above works, you could check the system requirements documentation for the Epic Games Launcher. Here’s the link so you can check it out: https://www.epicgames.com/help/en-US/c-Category_EpicGamesStore/c-EpicGamesStore_LauncherSupport/system-requirements-for-the-epic-games-launcher-a000084650
I hope you find some of these solutions useful!!
