I am new in this and learning unreal engine and i am facing an issue that this project is created in older version try to rebuild manually or rebuild and i am in search for this issue to be solved i have searched every where but nothing helped i have reinstalled it twice but nothing worked anyone who can help me

Hey there @Tanzeel020! Welcome to the community! I’ve been seeing reports of projects forcing rebuild even without changes.

Which version of Unreal Engine are you using?

Does this apply to all starting projects?

Same thing happened to me as well, I found the issue to be what I’ve added into the UE from the Fab Library, some items are not for certain versions. Hovering over the “i” will give you all the Compatibility list.

yeah and this is happening to all the projects anything i created saved and after some time i come back started prompt message is showing on screen

I don’t know if it’s because of the Windows 11 upgrade , windows 11 OS promoted me to upgrade system and .NET version , I did it and this issues happened …

An OS update could be a hint, some users are reporting that this is primarily an issue with blueprint projects and their C++ projects are seemingly exempt. If possible, could you verify this still occurs with base C++ projects as well?

@Tanzeel020, have you recently undergone a windows update as well?
