you need to check Tom Looman " Unreal Engine 4 Mastery: Create Multiplayer Games with C++" and Sam Pattuzzi “Unreal Multiplayer Master: Video Game Dev In C++”, they have whole chapter for creating AI with c++
Actually I looked at a few tutorials on how to use the behavior tree for more complex AI like bluffing and tricking the enemy and I realized it can do pretty complex things actually.
