I am a tutor in a college in the UK. We uderstand we can install UE4 on our college machine but can we install a copy on the tutor machines that exist outside the institution. This for professional development so we can learn UE4 at home before we use in thew class room.

We would not be using UE4 to make or release our own games but, as stated, to learn before we teach.

The academic license covers machines owned by the academic institutions only, so for private machines, a separate license would be required.

I was asked for a license when they found out that the car was not registered with the college.
