Hey guys I am 18 a year old guy from Germany and I never used a tool like the unreal engine 4 before, but I want to try my best to learn how to use the unreal engine 4. I know it is pretty impossible for a noob like me but I still want to try.
Do you have any advice for a noob like me? My goal is to create a small game… I want to have something which I can be proud of.

never doubt your limits, you have creativity and imagination.
Welcome to the community @Alanias!
The links @AdminZeia posted above should give you a heads start. As for advice, the best I can give you is to be patient. Game design is a very complex business, so long as you go in with the understanding that you won’t learn everything over night but over time you should do well. Good luck with your project, and be sure to share it’s progress in the WIP forums if you like! =)
thanks for the help guys I accept and know that I won’t learn everything overnight. I have a lot of respect of developing a game. As you said it is really complex more than I could imagine but I still want to try
I got enough time and I will share my progress with you guys!
I concur with @SE_JonF on being patient. Very important skill.
And also don’t be afraid to ask questions here on the forums!
Also, most important of all! Don’t give up!
I highly recommend the Udemy course for unreal engine 4, it’s very reasonably priced at $15 and goes through the whole process with an emphasis on C++ in UE4.
Hi. If you are truly a complete UE4 noob, you might find the links in my sig to be useful. The first one is a free resource, the next two are paid resources. They are all aimed at the absolute beginner.
Everyone start noob, skill take time to build, good luck!
