Hey-hey excited to share my personal project inspired by the serene ambiance of old cabins by the lake, surrounded by the beauty of mountains, with a touch of western vibe. I tried to pay close attention to the environment’s details, aiming for authenticity. The full scene created in Unreal Engine 5 and thanks to the assets I used from Quixel Megascan and the Unreal Marketplace. Check out the project on Artstation and Youtube. Cheers friends
The intricate details of every aspect of this project make it just come to life. It feels so lived in and warm. Like the hunter that lives there is just off for a stroll and could come back any moment. The storytelling aspects of the project (the boots, food, and book lying on the table) are definitely my favorite though. Those tiny details add a ton of character to the scene.
Thanks so much for your warm and thoughtful comment! I’m doing well and I hope your week is going just as wonderfully. I’m really glad you noticed the tiny details - they were my favorite parts to work on! I wanted to make the scene feel alive and inhabited, so it’s great to hear that you felt the hunter’s presence and got into the story
Your words truly motivate me to keep creating and adding these intricate details that bring a character to an environment. Stay tuned for more, and thanks again for your encouraging words - they mean a lot!
I’m in absolute awe at this. I feel like this is some place I should be able to go in Red Dead Redemption 2! The stunning appearance has this very comfortable but secluded feel. In all honesty, I wouldn’t mind a mild vacation there for a little while either. With everything altogether it looks very livable!
Please keep up the good work as your talent is amazing. I genuinely hope we get to see more from you.
Hey @The_M0ss_Man !
Wow, your comment has truly made my day! It’s fantastic that it reminded you of Red Dead Redemption 2. As a fan of that game, it was my main reference for this artwork. It’s great to hear that you found the cozy atmosphere appealing. You’re always welcome to imagine yourself visiting the cabin by the lake!
By the way, I’m currently working on a new environment design. Here’s a sneak peek at the work-in-progress, still in the early stages but undergoing refinement
I typically share updates on my LinkedIn page and would love to hear your thoughts. I’m also open to suggestions, so if there are other platforms where you think I should be sharing my work, I’d love to hear about them
Thank you so much for your kind support, your warm words are incredibly appreciated
Thanks for sharing your progress on a project with us. As far as other platforms, I know that quite a few Unreal artists use ArtStation to share their work. However, sharing here on the forums is always appreciated since we get to go through entire threads of the development process.
Also - Great work on the Adventure environment so far. The lighting and assets used give a really high quality feeling. Can’t wait to see what the final product looks like! In the meantime, happy developing!
