Hi Epic & Fortnite Community,

I’d like to share a detailed fan concept for a potential Hunter × Hunter crossover in Fortnite. With Fortnite’s successful anime collaborations (Naruto, Dragon Ball, Jujutsu Kaisen, My Hero Academia), bringing Hunter × Hunter into the game would be an incredible next step.

Characters / Skins

A collab could feature bundles and rotations covering every major arc of Hunter × Hunter:

  • Main Heroes: Gon Freecss, Killua Zoldyck, Kurapika, Leorio

  • Hunters & Allies: Kite, Biscuit “Bisky” Krueger, Isaac Netero, Knuckle, Shoot, Morel, Palm, Knov

  • Phantom Troupe: Hisoka, Chrollo Lucilfer, Feitan, Machi, Shizuku, Uvogin, Phinks, Shalnark, Pakunoda, Bonolenov, Kortopi, Nobunaga, Franklin

  • Zoldyck Family: Silva, Kikyo, Illumi, Milluki, Kalluto, Zeno

  • Zodiacs: Mizaistom, Cheadle, Pariston, Botobai, Saccho, Saiyu, Cluck, Ginta, Gel, Kanzai, Pyon, Ging

  • Chimera Ant Arc: Meruem, Neferpitou, Shaiapouf, Youpi, Colt, Ikalgo, Komugi (back bling / NPC)

  • Greed Island: Razor, Tsezguerra, Battera

Each could come as skins, back blings, or NPCs in a themed map event.

Nen Abilities (as Mythic Powers)

Nen could translate into Fortnite’s Mythic system:

  • Enhancer (Gon): Giant charged punch that breaks builds and launches enemies.

  • Transmuter (Killua): Electric aura sprint, faster mobility + shocking melee hits.

  • Conjurer (Kurapika): Chains that immobilize targets (like Spiderman web but shorter).

  • Emitter (Leorio / others): Long-range projectile blast.

  • Manipulator (Illumi, Shalnark): Briefly control or confuse NPCs.

  • Specialist (Chrollo, Kurapika in Scarlet Eyes): Unique hybrid abilities, e.g., steal mythics from opponents.

Players could find Nen Mythics during matches, similar to Deku Smash or Kamehameha.

Greed Island Event (LTM)

A Limited-Time Mode could recreate Greed Island, where players complete quests to collect 100+ unique cards (adapted from the anime).

Examples:

  • Accompany → Teleport to a squadmate.

  • Magnetic Force → Teleport to your last eliminated opponent’s location.

  • Paladin’s Necklace → Cleanse a negative status effect.

  • Blue Planet → Grant rare loot instantly.

  • Patch of Shore → Spawn healing fish.

  • Breath of Archangel → Full team heal.

  • Plot of Beach → Summons a safe zone with loot.

  • Risky Dice → Grants either amazing loot or none.

  • Clone → Duplicate the last used card.

Players would need to collect and register all cards through quests.

Reward System:

  • Completing the card collection = unlocks an exclusive Hunter × Hunter skin or bundle for free.

  • Partial completions give smaller rewards (emotes, sprays, XP).

This would feel authentic to Greed Island while keeping it Fortnite-friendly.

Why It Works

  • Hunter × Hunter is a legendary Shonen Jump series with a massive fanbase.

  • Its powers, factions, and iconic events fit seamlessly into Fortnite’s gameplay.

  • The Greed Island quest system adds progression and replayability, rewarding fans for engaging.

I believe this collab could be as successful as the Naruto and Dragon Ball events, if not bigger.
