HUD Scaling issue?

So what am I not understanding? I have 2 black images that need come off-screen and meet in the middle. For scaling purposes they are anchored to 4 corners and then I translate them for the viewport Y size so they are off-screen but it doesn’t work.

The Get Viewport Size node is returning 1200x720; so my images are translated 720 and -720. But this obviously isn’t the viewport size, they are still on the screen. Does the translate work differently and not per pixel?
