Hi guys,
Hoping for a quick answer here, I think the answer is NO, but just want to double-check as I’m still learning the ropes of UE.
I’m wondering is if it is possible to create a HTML5 project that has a transparent background when run in the browser?
If this seems like a silly question, forgive me, I’m thinking in terms of compositing the output.
Thanks in advance =)
Hey,
Currently, there is not a way to implement a transparent background on any platform with UE4. I am not sure whether or not this will be added in the future however, it’s not possible at this time. I hope this helps. Have a great day!
Thanks for the reply - I guess next best option is to have a flat coloured background and use JS to filter out the background colour, if possible.
Cheers! =)
