Why on the www.unrealengine.com no longer exists?
I asked the same question in another thread and got…silence…nobody appears to know what Epic’s plan for html5 is at the moment.
I suspect that because it’s still only an experimental feature they decided it would be best to pull it from the marketing jargon. The documentation is still up and specifically calls it out as being experimental Developing HTML5 Projects | Unreal Engine Documentation
Yup. We still love HTML5, don’t worry. We just want to make sure we are advertising support for a platform that is truly first class with UE4, and while it already quite usable we know it needs more attention. Plus we’d like for the platform to be usable out of the box without having to compile everything yourself. So right now we focusing heavily on the mobile platforms like iOS and Android, and many of those improvements will actually carry over to benefit HTML5.
