I understand having a full tire model and then swapping for a flat model, but how would I make the car itself sink to the side when this happens?
One option is to simply make both a full tire and flat tire component. Each of these have their own uniquely sized colliders. Then rather than just the model, you swap out the entire component.
I see, and would this have the car react realistically to the change? It would right? If the car has physics, right?
As @Mogitu pointed out … the trick here is the collision for the wheels … by making them smaller the vehicle will sink to one side. Obviously it would have to be a physics enabled vehicle or model for it to be effective.
I see, thank you both, very much!
