How to work with google seurat?

i just find this amazing tool for optimize scenes for mobile (vr in my case). In unity works great, but i cant make it work in ue4.
I copy the plugin to the folder, I activate it and then it asks me to restart and then compile it… and fail. It has not worked neither 4.22, 4.19 and 4.16
Has anyone here been able to use it?

Did you follow the instructions: GitHub - googlevr/seurat-unreal-plugin: Seurat is a scene simplification technology designed to proces

there are 3 steps for work with seurat
1 - capture
2 - processing
3 - importing

I’m stuck in step one, and the plugin is for step one. For capture the scene.
Step 2 is made in a standalone software and the result is an OBJ and a image, and the instructions you post are for that, step three. So, there are no instructions for step one, where you need to install and run the plugin.

I managed to capture in unity and then import the 3D into ue4 without problem. But i need to capture directly from ue4.

I found this post, but they just skip the plugin part. And i’m not really sure if i’m missing something basic here. that blog has a fix if doesn’t compile, but didn’t work for me.

Hi PiroKun, I have the same issue. I already posted a question to the developers of the plugin:

I hope they can help me. I tested it with 4.16 and 4.22.

I blogged about how to get this all working.

Is anyone having success with this program? I have been making a few scenes for the Quest, but the performance is not great.
