how to use the pixel streaming plugin in VR?

Is the pixel streaming plugin usable in VR, I’VE tried many times streaming to the local via chrome and nothing appears.
Although it works fine in standard mode.
Hope I can find some help, thanks in advance.

Hi, I get “Failed to initialize NVEncoder” error message, when trying to use a VR Package. I am investigating right now if this has something to do with VR and the image which is now sent to the vive headset. Because normally (without VR) Pixel Streaming works just fine, so the hint in the docs “If you receive the error message Failed to load NvEncode dll when you try to use the Pixel Streaming Plugin, it is very likely that your GPU does not support NVENC.” does not apply to this special case. I will deactivate the Pixel Streaming Plugin and will see, if the next package will work as expected.

In our case this would be ok, since we don’t intend to use Pixel Streaming in combination with VR, it was only enabled as a test.

Our issue might have nothing to do with VR and how it renders, but with the Message Bus. We are using this for communication between two apps and the app wit Pixel Streaming plugin crashes on startup with the upper mentioned error message. In our VR package we disabled Pixel Streaming plugin as a test and this one starts fine, even with the “-Messaging” command in the short cut (this is a bit off-topic).

This was an update to my first comment. So our crashes have probably nothing to do with VR in combination with Pixel Streaming. Sorry that I couldn’t help, but identifying another issue…

how about Pixel Streaming for XR HMD now? is it applicable?
