How to use metahuman 5.6 body conform with existing models.

Ok, so I’m not sure if I understand the way the body “conform to mesh template” is supposed to work in 5.6 They say the template models have to “have metahuman topology” but they never really explain what this is.

What I’m trying to find out is, If I have a mesh of a character body created from scratch, can it be used with the conform to mesh template feature? How can you convert a non conformant mesh in blender to one that conforms?

For example if I have a mesh from DAZ, or someone’s model of “The Hulk” is it possible to convert it and use it as a template to conform a metahuman body?

So far, all I’ve seen is people exporting a metahuman mesh, sculpting it in blender and reimporting it.
