How to use custom InstancedFoliageActor?

Hi, I’m currently trying to create a forest with cuttable trees. I have create a actor that could manage FoliageInstancedStaticMesh but I missed using the awesome foliage painting to speed up the process. So, is there anyway that I can use a custom InstancedFoliageActor to manage my FoliageInstancedStaticMesh with the ability to use foliage painting and replication?
