How to use animation in .uasset files ?

Hi

I have files that store different animations like Run, idle, jump etc… but all in .uasset files . I know how to import them by copy the .uasset files using windows explorer but how I can use the animation in these files ?

Hey @william5642!

Could you explain further what you mean by using the animations in the files? Are you trying to use the animations in your project or do you have a different way you are trying to use them?

I got some animations from game sample project but the animation files are in .uasset

I attached a sample here:

Hey @william5642,

Correct. All of these animations will be .uasset files. Are you wanting to know how to retarget them? Something different? Could you explain in detail what you are trying to do with the animations?

I wanted to use these animations with another human 3D model

Hey @william5642,

Check out this non-Epic affiliated guide for retargeting your animations so you can use them on different models:

Let me know if this works for you! And don’t forget to mark the solution for your question if it does!
