Hello, i am about to publish an island, but until now I’ve just published as private for team to test and every time I get a new Island code.
After publishing the island to public, can I update the island and keep the same code? I believe it should, if it works like this, how can I keep the code instead of change it?
You first upload you’re Island to the Testcode where you get the Private Code.
After that you publish you’re polished and tested Island by https://create.fortnite.com/ where you fill out everything like Desription Title and so on.
If you wanna update the published Island you start from begining and use the Private Isalnd you uploaded to update you’re existing Island.
When you publish your island this creates a permanent island code. It’ll show up under the project title name, here’s an example of where you can find that information.
The test codes will always be new, and always be unique, but your live island code that is publicly accessible once your project is ‘Listed’ is the one in that screenshot. Check out the publishing documentation for more information: Publishing Projects
For creating a hub island and some other islands whats is the best solution for avoiding have to change it latter if numbers grow up.
Better to use one level for each project or can i create many levels inside the same project and build the islands from this same project just using different levels ?
Using the same project its easier to share assets, but i have this 2 questions:
Is it possivle to have 2 different public islands for 2 different levels using the same project?
The memory available for island is related to memory used for project (with all levels inside) or there is an individual quota for each level ?
