Hi there
I just installed Unreal Engine 5.0.2 through Epic Games Launcher 14.0.15 on a mac running mac OS 12.4, and am trying to remove it (as I don’t have the space to get xcode, which I didn’t realise it needed). The problem is it does not appear in my Applications folder, or the library tab of the Epic Games Launcher.
How do I remove Unreal Engine please? If I can’t use it I need those 18 GB back!
TIA
Mark
Hey @RevBeardedLove, welcome to the Unreal community!
To uninstall the engine itself, you should be able to see it in the Unreal Engine tab and then the Library sub tab. You should see the engine in here - click the drop down arrow and remove the engine version to uninstall.
If you can’t find the engine in that location, the default install location is \users\shared\epic games. In that folder you will find all the engine versions installed and can simply move them to the trash if you do not want to continue using Unreal Engine on your Mac.
I hope this information helps!
