How to un-package a packaged Level Actor?
You open the project that contains it… If you don’t have the project, then the file isn’t yours to be ripping from.
nope, that’s not what I meant. I am not talking about a packaged game.
I am talking about a Packaged LEVEL, within an unreal engine project.
Same thing applies… You open the project in the editor and then open the level. If you don’t have access to the project, then none of the project file contents are yours to be messing with.
If you’d like to have access to them, then get in contact with the owner of them and ask them. If you don’t want to or they say no, then what you’re talking about falls in the realm of reverse engineering and/or piracy.
again, you are totally misunderstanding what I am talking about.
With World Partition, you can have instanced and packaged Levels.
I am talking about my own project, using packaged Levels.
The City Sample is using them as well.
You can select assets on a level, and then within the outliner select them and create a packaged level. For some reason, after packaging selected assets as a level, there is no more way to unpackage those assets.
I hope that makes more sense. Again, I am not talking about packaging a game for Windows, or any other OS.
