How to toggle Autowalk upon encountering certain Event

I am working on a project which requires me to toggle Autowalk feature upon confirming gazecheck with a mesh in the world.

I was able to make character autowalk when character gazes the mesh but failed to set his state in the autowalk motion.

Also , if the player is autowalking , and gazes to that mesh , it must toggle its state to stop .

Any help with is appreciated.
