After a build has been successfully uploaded, how can it be redownloaded for testing? I am seeking a private beta for developers to test the uploaded build.
Hi Amirulradzi!
We’ll be more than happy to help. You can follow our, “Epic Games Store Testing Guide” to help you get started and if you have any questions regarding it, don’t hesitate to let us know!
So, everything is set on stage, and the next step is to go live. I generated a testing key and gave it to my other account. The redemption process was successful, but it’s not showing up in the library. Can you help me with this?
No problem at all!
First we suggest restarting the Epic Games Store launcher. Secondly, we also suggest creating a “Player Group” where you can add your other account for testing purposes. Let us know if you need assistance with anything else!
Yay! It works! To test the build, such as creating a private beta, I just need to generate a testing key and redeem it using a new Epic Games account. After that, I’ll add the new account ID to a player group specifically designed for testers. Thanks a lot
I tried to upload another build as an update for my beta version, but it’s not appearing in the Artifacts and Binaries tab on the portal. Only the previously uploaded build is showing. Why is that? Both time I use -mode=UploadBinaries.
We’re happy to hear you’re reaching some success in this! To confirm, when updating your binary, are you following along the steps provided in the “BuildPatch Tool Instructions”?
I did follow the steps in the BuildPatch Tool Instructions. But did not use the BinaryDeltaOptimise mode. Only UploadBinary mode.
I found it, Its in the dev Build. just have to push it to stage Build, and now there is 2 Binary. I made the latest build is the main version.
Hi! you can provide a download link or access through a platform like TestFlight (for iOS) or Google Play’s internal testing track (for Android). Ensure that the testers have the necessary permissions and instructions to install and test the build privately.
