How to stop auto update for Unreal?

I really need a way to stop Epic Games to stop updating my Unreal, can someone help me? I can’t find any good answers online and it’s driving me crazy because each update is 20GB++.

After 5.3 released I installed it, and after some weeks it got update for 20GB++ and after the update I noticed that the version is gone up to 5.3.1.

And tonight when I try to visit unreal again, it updates again for 20GB++. I really can’t afford Epic to update the engine version I am using right now every time there is a new version. Can someone give me a hand here on how to stop Epic from auto-updating my Unreal?

I thought it didn’t update unless you pressed the button. Is there even an auto option?

There’s no Auto Update feature as far as I know. It’ll only Update if you click the Update Button.

If you press the yellow button it starts updating the engine:

But if you go to your library and click directly in your project, it will just run the engine without installing the new versión:

Hope it helps :+1:
