Here is a video clip that shows the NPC stop for a bit before it punches, I want that walking animation to stop as soon as the gate closes stopping movement. Thanks.
The solution was to use a “Set Physics Linear Velocity” node, plug the capsule into the target, set the new velocity to all zeros. I placed this right after a close gate custom event. Which interupts an Event Tick flow for the main movement. Hope this helps someone out there.
