I installed the launcher from the .MSI
It shows the launcher running in the task manager when ran without a modifier tag, but I don’t see the launcher itself.
It immediately crashes and shows to the crash report client in the task manager with the -OpenGL tag.
It both installs and attempts to run the 32-bit version on my machine, although I have a 64-bit OS.
I tried the debug logging and it confirms it’s trying to run 32-bit mode, and that it’s missing/cannot access files.

i share my solution :
---------------------------------------------------
GO TO ---> C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Extras\Redist
---------------------------------------------------
Launch ---> LauncherPrereqSetup_x64
Uninstall ( if installed )
Then,
Install again..,
Have fun !
---------------------------------------------------
idont find any extras folder in epic game launcher
After this, remember to change the directory of the Epic Game Launcher shortcut on desktop to “Win64”.
The original directory should be Win32 like below
“C:\Program Files (x86)\Epic Games\Launcher\Portal\Binaries\Win32\EpicGamesLauncher.exe”
And the way I use is to create a totally new shortcut for 64bit version.
Connor do you have discord so you can help me for my probleme pls ?
Any update on this? I do not have a redlist file.
