My question is about entering known camera calibrations.
RS accepts prior focal lengths in ‘35 mm equivalent millimeters’. However the important value is actually focal length in pixels. That can be computed if the dimensions of the sensor, in both mm and pixels, are also given; but there are many situations in which that information is not available, not applicable, or simply wrong.
Metashape and COLMAP do accept focal lengths in pixels, and RS should, too. Or at the very least, allow one to input pixel pitch.
Am I missing something?
