How to smooth between two paint layers in landscape?

Why i get a sharp falloff between 2 paint layers?I have low down the fallof and use the smooth tool already,but it still get this poor effect…What should I do?

Hi ,

Try lowering your Tool Strength down to something really low like .01. That should produce a nice blending effect.

Thanks TJ,I tried this,but it still has that sharp edges and contrast

You said that you lowered the falloff but to smooth the edges you will need to increase the value on the falloff.

If that still doesn’t work, are you using any sort of alpha to paint with?
