How to Show Selection Outline/Highlight in Perspective Viewport?

When I select static meshes in the perspective viewport, there is no outline or highlight around them. I can see the move/rotate/scale tool at the meshes center but not the outline. I can see the outline when I select brushes in perspective viewport. I can see the outline on anything I select in the other viewports, just not the perspective viewport. Is there a way to fix this? It can be hard at times to not have the outline around meshes when moving them around.

Hey cyborgjynx -

Sorry to hear you are having this problem, but I think I have a solution for you. In your editor preferences under Level Editor >> Viewports >> Look and Feel, find the Use Selection Outline and ensure that it has been checked you can also increase the Outline intensity using the very next setting.

Hopes this solution works for you, if not please let us know and we will continue investigating,

im too having this issue and these steps didn’t cause a fix for me,

Hey emissivecandle,

This is working for me. Be sure you are setting the intensity value to anything above 0.0.

I set mind to 0.3 and can clearly see the yellow highlight on things I have selected in the scene.

Thanks,
