How to show ppt in UE4 game?
because i want to create virtual class room in UE4 game
There is no support for this file type (afaik, unless there’s a niche plugin for it).
You’d need to export slides as images (PP already automates is). If the presentation has animations or transitions, you’d need to recreate them in-editor. In which case, rather than slides, one would need to export individual elements and re-assemble them in UMG.
A Widget Component can be used to show it in a 3d environment like a 3D VR classroom.
Alternatively, you could export the presentation as a series of videos, this could preserve the existing animations and transitions but you’d lose out on interactivity - if any was present, that is.

You could consider asking the developer of DirectExcel in Code Plugins - UE Marketplace about any plans to provide such functionality as a plugin. Someone like him, who knows about doing stuff with MS Office can maybe help you with some tips.

pptx files includes all images already, and xml-format data for all the slides/animations/++
So would be possible to create an importer, but would be some work to add all functionalities.
Also found this document for the old ppt-files, but it’d be even more work to get that implemented.
