So i made small FPS game and when i launch 2 instances one on my PC and other on Virtual Machine i can connect to same session but now how would i make it so i can play with my friend?
You can play with using Hamachi.
You can use the Online Subsystem (Steam, EOS, your own, etc.) to search for sessions on the Internet.
Or you can connect to the server directly using the console command “open ip:port” (you first create a session in the same way as for a local network, but remove the “Use LAN” flag)
In this case, it is important that the port is open in the Windows Firewall.
You can find out your IP and check the availability of the port (by default is used 7777) on special sites.
