How to set up a demo ?

I’m planning to add a demo to my game.
I’ve not been able to find much information about the process in the documentation.
Basically, I’m looking for a way to simply state that my game has a demo, which will set up a link to try it. And a way to send an artifcact for the demo.
I’ve been able to create a “Demo” offer. However it looks like I have to enter all the images, screenshots, localization, descriptions, which looks useless. I didn’t find a way to “link” the demo to the main game/offer. And when I preview the store page, there is no “Download Demo” link.

Thanks for your help

Hi @frozax.games! The Demo offer asks for all that information because demos have their own page on EGS. These demo pages can be used in any number of ways, but we frequently see the pages highlighting what the players will experience in the demo and how it may be a condensed version of the game.

When you generated the demo offer, an artifact should also have been automatically created and connected to the offer. The artifact can be found in the “Artifacts and Binaries” tab and would be named “demo_[offer_name]_[product_name]_randomhash”.

Once you upload a binary to the demo artifact and preview the store page, the call to action button will either say “ADD TO CART” or “GET” depending on which page you’re looking at.

If you’re not seeing anything for the demo when previewing the page, then the Early Store Discovery date may also be future-dated and wouldn’t surface on the page preview.

Thanks for the clarification. I was wondering because I didn’t see the “DEMO” button on the main store page. It’s probably because I didn’t submit any artifact for the demo offer, which makes sense.
