new to UE5 and learning the ropes. I read that Unreal uses metric system and cm for the units. however threre seems to be some kind of discrepancy between the unit scale and grid size. The scale thingy shows me 10cm (or 1m) but the grid at that point is about 12,5 squares in size. Why?
Iâm a new user. I dont touch any settings that I dont know.
The only thing i did in the project settings is to limit the framerate to 60, so my gpu fans dont suck in my cats.
Oooh, you mean windows itself? I have an ultrawide monitor so the text/item scaling could be set to 125%-150%. Why would it affect the UI in UE though?
Thanks for your help!
At least I know now why it happens.
Now I just need to figure out if I trust the grid or the âmeasuring line/overlayâ to scale my assets. XD
