How to set Initialized Fields for overlapping actors in a Construction Script?

I’m trying to automate setting an anchor field for a Geometry Collection placed in the world, but I can’t seem to get it to work.

What I’m trying to do is have the anchor field detect the geometry collection overlap and assign itself to the geometry collection’s Initialized Field variable.
I’ve set the anchor fields manually and it works. I checked that the overlapping actor is returned in the overlap event. I’ve also seen reports on the forums that these functions work with ConstructionScript.
So I don’t know what the problem is. How can I make this work?
