How to select brush and not the surface (get access to Brush settings)

Hello,

Problem is that I can’t select the brush geometry by clicking the brush… I can only select it from the World outliner. This is pretty annoying not sure if it’s intended but anyway works very inconsistently.

So here is a pic of clicking the brush with left mouse:

And here is the brush selected on world outliner:

Now I have seen this broblem posted many times with suggestions of double clicking and some other tricks but nothing really works.

And right as I posted this I finally found the solution:

To get the brush selected you want to left click the brush once (whatever surface) and then you want to left click a EDGE of the brush to actually select the brush (clicking surface or origin will not work).

Hope this is help for somebody else since I found zero info on such selection style.
