How to search for "an exact phrase" with the Forum Search function?

Hey guys,

Maybe it’s me, but I can’t seem to figure how to search for phrases in the forums. I’ve tried wrapping double quotes around the phrase (like in Google search), and also single quotes. On the AnswerHub the single quotes seem to work, but not here… Any ideas?

Someone else may come along and correct me, but it seems that the search on this site is only by keyword(s), not phrases. You can refine the search using the basic and advanced search options, but that doesn’t include searching for a phrase.

One option that I use to search for specific text is to use Google search - but scoped to the site. For example: site:forums.unrealengine.com “an exact phrase”

Note: I actually use the Google ‘site:’ method more on other sites than on the forums - it’s a handy option.
